Data-driven development, with AI/machine learning and High Performance Computing (HPC) techniques and tools can transform businesses and develop new ideas, driving their internal development forward. As a small company, being given the opportunity to work with new technology means a lot to their self-image and helps them take new steps on their digitization journey.
The form of pre-studies involves collaboration for a shorter period of time where we work together with the organization in flexible ways, with an estimated work effort of between 2-8 hours per week depending on the business's needs and priority based on objectives. The organization must be the driving force in the process and formulate its problems and challenges themselves in order to then be given support and guidance to realize these. The support can, for example, be about extracting, managing data, refining data or scaling, but can also be about method selection for data processing or the use of HPCC. It can also be in collaboration with health or ehealth researchers to come up with new ways of using or collecting the data.
The purpose is not to deliver ready-made solutions that can be immediately put into operation, but instead to demonstrate possibilities, test ideas and give the companies tools to work further with development, alternatively get the right client competence.
Pilot cases can potentially also be switched to research projects with external funding, alternatively commissioned research within our research environment Linnaeus University Center for Data Intensive Sciences and Applications (DISA)
