Leap for Life/Halmstad University in partnership with Hallands municipalities and Region Halland, arranges a recurring digital seminar series on informationdriven care. The series contributes to creating an understanding of how informationdriven care can contribute to Swedish healthcare and social care and looks at the current state of knowledge. Presentations are interspersed with informal conversations and the participants get an opportunity to acquire new knowledge, meet across organizational and business boundaries, discuss and reflect together.

The Center for Health Data develop methods in cooperation with various industries where the focus is on the use of health data. For several years, the region has used data for the analysis of various therapy areas, including patient processes, care contacts, drug use, co-morbidity and cost of care. The knowledge from the analyzes has been used internally in the region by various internal operations for the development of care.
The course teaches how to deploy a trained AI model for the analysis of health data. Participants may use their own datasets in the course.
Funding in the VFT-1 program is directed to support and enable the first steps towards verifying and developing a solid business concept. This often includes analyzing market interest and need, developing prototypes, filing patents, building a team, or running pilot tests with customers.
These workshops are aimed at public organizations such as regions and authorities that provide health data for secondary use, as well as at SMEs that develop services around synthesizing health data.
